    January 26th - April 19th, 2007

IATHE would like to thank everyone who applied for the opportunity to facilitate the upcoming online course.

    About the Facilitator
We are extremely pleased to announce that Dr. Martin Wall will be facilitating the winter 2007 cohort. Dr. Martin Wall has recently joined the faculty at University of Victoria, having come from the University of Toronto where he was former chair of the Department of Psychology, a post he held for a decade, spanning the 90's. While chair, he was the sole instructor of the introductory course in Psychology, a course of 2200 students. His interest in fostering excellence in teaching led to his involvement in establishing the University of Toronto’s Teaching Assistant Training Program; developing the university-wide graduate course, THE500, Teaching in Higher Education; teaching a graduate course on university teaching; teaching a similar course to university faculty and presenting annual workshops on various teaching matters through the University of Toronto’s Office of Teaching Advancement. He has been a recipient of several teaching awards, including the University of Toronto’s Joan E. Foley Quality of Student Experience Award. More recently he was a recipient of the 3M National Teaching Fellowship.
